Smart-AKIS 3rd Greek Regional Innovation Workshop was held successfully at the premises of Agricultural University of Athens on the 20^th of February 2018.

Important funding entities were invited to present their funding schemes for either project or business ideas and participate in working groups with the promoters of the collaboration ideas derived from the previous workshops.

The audience was selected in order to have constructive discussions and receive constructed project proposals to be submitted for funding through national and private funds, from which a flagship project could be selected to be presented in the Transnational Innovation Workshop in Novi Sad, on 21st of March 2018.

Both the funding entities representatives and the farmers, advisors and researchers participating in the Workshop found the process very interesting and the opportunities derived from it very promising.

They all expressed their willingness to participate in similar events, due to the participatory procedure followed.
