Smart Farming Technologies – Insights & Outlook from Smart AKIS
A new video from Leibniz Centre for Agricultural Landscape Research (ZALF) provides a recap about the main findings of Smart-AKIS on regards to the perception and use of Smart Farming Technologies by Farmers. The video provides an overview about the scientific framework and results of work package 2 elaborated by ZALF and the Smart AKIS partners. Goal of this work package is to systematically explore user acceptance of Smart Farming Technologies by identifying farmers’ needs and by investigating procedural and external factors that affect the generation, adoption and diffusion of these innovations within the social systems. The presentation is structured as follows: the background of our project, theoretical concepts with which we work, followed up by results, presented via 6 key messages, and finally concluding take-home messages.
